Sort Your Belongings
Taking the time to go through all of your things before you start tossing them out is crucial. You have several options when it comes to sorting through your items. You can sort them into trash, recycling, donate, or keep piles. We recommend keeping a “trash” pile for junk that needs to be thrown away and a “keep” pile for sentimental belongings you want to save or give away.
Organize What Can Be Donated
If there are items in your home that are still in good condition but no longer being used, consider donating them so they can find a new home! Clothing can be donated to shelters or thrift shops for people in need. If you do not know where these places are located, consider asking your neighbors or friends, as they may know of a place you can take them.
Measure First
When measuring your area for a roll off container, the most important thing to remember is not to measure too small. The last thing you want is for us to show up with the wrong size dumpster only to find it blocks access to your door and you’re forced to squeeze through a small opening. Even just a couple of inches can make a huge difference.
Load It Up
Once we drop it off, we suggest that you start loading up your dumpster right away. The longer you wait, the dirtier it will get so don’t waste any time! But please only add items such as clothing, paper products, etc… Do not add hazardous materials such as paint cans or car batteries to avoid possible injury since this type of waste is dangerous. Remove Boxes
When loading your container with furniture and other household items, please remember to remove any boxes. This will prevent them from shifting during transport which can cause damage to your items inside.
